Has a very good first time out record and Expected to go close. SOUTH OF INDIA (9) continues to race well this time in work, the latest effort a solid third over 5½f at Flemington. Drawn to go forward. Expected to be in the finish. CLOUDLAND (6) started at 13/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths at this track over 6½f. The engagement of Dylan Gibbons is noteworthy. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of running a bold race. BUNKER HUT (10) has been freshened since finishing fourth over 6f at this track. Kept up to the mark with a recent Randwick trial. A big run wouldn’t surprise.
