DEVIL NIGHT (2) showed early speed from a good draw last time and raced on speed before drawing clear to score by a nose over 6f in the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield. In great form and is well-placed to feature again. TEMPTED (13) came from well back on the bend and hit the line strongly to score over 6f in the G2 Reisling Stakes at Randwick last time out. Stiffer assignment here but a bold showing is expected. TYCOON STAR (4) finished fourth last time out over 6f at Randwick, beaten 1.1 lengths. Key contender. WITHIN THE LAW (12) scored last start in the G2 Sweet Embrace Stakes at Randwick to make it three wins from four starts this campaign. Goes up a notch this time but is not to be discounted.
