ELETTRICA (5) was an impressive winner last time over 7f in the LR XXXX Sunshine Coast Cup. Drifted back on that occasion then quickened impressively to score by 2.25 lengths. Goes up a notch this time but should measure up. MAKARENA (1) turned in a fair effort in the Golden Eagle at this track over 7½f at her last run four months ago, finishing fourth and beaten 1.3 lengths. Comes here with definite claims. FIRESTORM (4) is when resuming since November 9. Has a great record when fresh with three successes from four runs including a win over 7½f at this track at the start of last prep. Ran fourth in a trial at Rosehill over 4½f recently. Winning chance while fresh. OUR GOLD HOPE (6) finished 3 lengths behind the winner in eighth place when resuming over 6f last start in the G3 Southern Cross Stakes at this track. Can improve sharply here.
