LAMBAY (8) raced close to the lead before clearing out to score an effortless 2.5 lengths win over 6½f at Canberra last time. Among the top chances again. STORMY WITNESS (7) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 3.5 lengths into eighth over 6½f at Goulburn. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Meeting a deeper field this time but she cannot be taken lightly. DEVGRU (12) improved sharply on his eighth two starts back at Canberra with a win over 1m at Queanbeyan three weeks ago, getting home by 1.2 lengths after he worked home in great style. Taking on a better field but he is up to the task. BRAVELY (2) booted up from the inside draw to sit on the speed last start then went on to register a determined win by half a length at Ipswich over 6¾f. Should give a great sight.
