MATUSALEM (16) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Caulfield with a win as public elect over 1m2f at this track two weeks ago, getting home by a long neck. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. ENOTIS (9) is progressing well this campaign. Opened with a fourth at Canterbury two starts back then landed the prize by 2.25 lengths last time out after being in the firing line on the corner over 1m1f at Randwick. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MASCARET (12) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m1f at Randwick after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Best efforts measure up so capable of another big run.
