LEAFICE (6) is back after a break of 12 weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5½f at Bunbury. Now under the care of new trainer Dean Cocivera. Should be hard to stop. MARITIME DREAM (7) is yet to break through after seven career starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 6f at Port Hedland following a minor placing at Carnarvon when fresh from a lay-off the run prior. Should be in the mix. DARK OPAL (4) finished fourth last start over 5½f at this track after racing on the pace for much of the way. Among the chances. RAY'S SAUCE (1) was in contention on the corner and finished third last time over 6½f at Port Hedland, beaten 4 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing.
