METALCRAFT (3) is a handy type who resumes after a break of six-and-a-half months. At his last appearance he finished sixth over 5½f at Ipswich, beaten 4 lengths. Fitter for two subsequent trials, including a win. Should be prominent from the outset. Expected to be in the finish. THEE CREEK (1) raced on the speed and kept going to score by a head last time out over 5f at Townsville. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. CRYOSEISMS (2) found plenty to salute by half a length three runs back at Mackay before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Should be poised just off the lead. Deserves respect on best figures.
