RED DEFCON (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when seventh in a 6¾f contest at Doomben five weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can take this out. INCA TRAIL (3) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 7f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Likely to push forward from the wide draw. Has the ability to take care of this field. ITALIAN RIVIERA (2) improved last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 7f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Faces an easier assignment so he is sure to prove hard to beat. DEMITASSE (5) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 2 lengths from the winner in third over 6½f at Toowoomba. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
