SUMICH (8) was too good for a maiden field last start over 6½f at Mackay, scoring by 2. 5 lengths. Re-unites with Sean Cormack who was on board last start. Can go right on with the job now. THE LAST SAGA (3) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fifth, beaten one length, over 6½f at this track. Well placed and expected to feature. MILK MAID (12) was comfortably accounted for when eighth last time out over 7f at this track, beaten 10 lengths. That followed a win at Mackay at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. HEROIC BEACH (6) was beaten 4 lengths into ninth in a 1m2 3/4f contest at Ipswich at his latest appearance. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
