THE DEPUTY (7) is overdue for a win with two recent placings, the latest finishing third over 6½f at Toowoomba, and is down in the weights this time. Change of jockey to Rob Thorburn who has a strong record when aboard, including two wins. Among the leading chances. HOLLYWOOD NORTH (2) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 5. 5 lengths back in fourth over 7f at Sunshine Coast. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. PANTELONE (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Toowoomba, beaten 2. 25 lengths into fifth after being in contention on the bend. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. CAPO STRADA (5) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then scored by a nose last time out over 7f at this track. Nicely placed to go back-to-back.
