GANGITANO (6) has strung together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on August 5 over 7f when he scored by 1.1 lengths. Winning rider Ryan Wiggins retains the mount. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. DRAGON'S SNIP (4) finished third two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 1.2 lengths as favourite over 5f211yards at Gladstone. Nikki Olzard scored on him last time and retains the mount. Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is capable of testing his rivals. PANTELONE (1) was in the money two starts back at Gatton but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh, beaten 4 lengths, at Ipswich over 5½f after being in contention on the turn. Finds a more suitable contest and can bounce back. MEDIA EMPIRE (2) could only manage 11th two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Thangool, beaten just a neck. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
