ALFA DUNDEE (5) was too good for a maiden field when resuming last start over 7f at this track, scoring by a nose. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Justin P Stanley who was on board last start. Big chance to go back-to-back. SOUTHAVEN (8) settled well back and never threatened when beaten 8 lengths into seventh last time out over 7f at this track. Backmarker who gets home hard. One of the leading chances. DETERMINATION (2) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at this track over 6f. Expected to run well again. SHABOOH SHALAA (1) ran a better race last start, finishing 2 lengths away in sixth over 6¾f at Ipswich. Well placed to turn things around.
