LAMENTUM (2) ran below expectations last time at Mackay, finishing ninth and beaten 9 lengths starting at 5/2. Has raced five times here and has never missed the frame. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. GENERAL HIPPO (3) lines up for the first time since November 29. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 6f at Yeppoon. Comes here with definite top-three claims. DEEP SECRET (12) is returning from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Finished eighth at Seymour over 5f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer James Healy. Will be fit enough for this following a recent trial win.
