PIVOTAL LAD (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Gold Coast, beaten 5.5 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. ROCKY REWARD (4) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Gold Coast. Couldn't follow that up last time out when ninth over 5f at Eagle Farm, beaten 4.5 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is worth serious consideration. TRACK TALE (2) tackled city class last start when eighth over 6f at Eagle Farm. Goes very well at this journey, boasting three wins from five starts and is capable of going well. PROPOSE (9) is back at the races for the first time since December 28. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at Toowoomba. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
