ELLE MAGIC (9) finds it hard to win with just one success from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m2f at Doomben, beaten 5 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can find the winner's circle. PANNIER (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1m at Toowoomba, beaten 4 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. WHATJEUDOIN' (6) caught the eye last start over 7f at this track, coming from well back to finish half a length from the winner in second. Lightly raced gelding who is starting to put it together now and he is right in the mix again. MASONRY MAN (2) accounted for a maiden field over 6½f at Mackay last start, finishing a neck ahead of the nearest rival. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated.
