Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 3f213yards at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino. Sure to make his presence felt. PINTO CANYON (4) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when eighth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 1f180yards at this track (Dirt) after he settled well back. Should be peaking now and will be tough to beat. FIRST SPESIAL (1) has not appeared since she finished seventh over 3f213yards at Sam Houston Park (Dirt) on June 6. Goes very well here having never been out of the placings. Among the better hopes. JESS MY DISCO (3) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 3f213yards at this track, beaten 11 lengths, after a win at Sam Houston Park at the previous outing. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role.
