AFFAIR (5) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1. 3 lengths from the winner in second over 1m at this track after being prominent at the corner. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MIDSHIPMAN'S LADY (3) is an imported four-year-old having his first run in this area for the Sarah Nicole Davidson yard. Hasn't raced since finishing second over 6f at Assiniboia Downs 11 weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly for the new connections but she is among the leading chances. TEMPLAR RED (1) returns from a layoff of 11 weeks. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park. Sure to make her presence felt. MOLA MIA (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at this track, beaten 9 lengths into fourth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
