That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three outings. Can measure up again. BIG CHOPPER (10) settled well back and failed to come on in the straight last start when ninth, beaten 5 lengths, over this course and distance. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. WESTERN AVENUE (5) improved sharply last time out to score by 0. 3 lengths over 5½f at Los Alamitos (Dirt) two months ago. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
