STAYED IN FOR HALF (8) went forward last time and battled on gamely to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 5f at Louisiana Downs (Turf). Can spear over from a wide draw. The engagement of S Elliott is a positive move. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards. HOFF (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 8 lengths away in tenth over 6½f at Kentucky. Worth noting Erik Asmussen goes aboard. Capable of featuring prominently.
