SIR BARCELONA (6) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 1f31yards at this track (Dirt) last start, scoring by half a length. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Mario Delgado was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. This is tougher but he is capable of another big run. SOUTHURN EAGLE (3) is back after a break of five months. Looking to emulate his win at Canterbury Park to kick off the last campaign. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
