BILLIE BLUES GIRL (7) improved last start to finish third over 1½f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to figure in the finish. OKIE POWER (9) landed his maiden success over this course and distance last time, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Breaks from a wide alley but he is a solid top-three hope. BRISA DE MAR (2) showed good early speed over 1½f at this track (Dirt) last time and went on to salute by a nose. Has the speed to be prominent from an ideal gate. Will be hard to run down again. RELENTLESS AMERICAN (4) raced on the pace over 1½f at this track (Dirt) on debut last start and went on to win by one length. Must be respected.
