STORMY PEARL (2) put behind four disappointing efforts to finish runner-up in a 6f handicap at Thirsk on most recent appearance. Holds winning course and distance form. Can go one better. STARSONG (3) placed second on first appearance this season but has failed to place in two subsequent starts. Missed out on the placings when fourth at Leicester twelve days ago. Will be up there. STARSONG (3) has only placed once in last six starts which came three starts back in a Catterick handicap in October. Improvement expected. BAYRAAT (6) needs to offer some improvement from failing to place in last six starts.
