MILITARY CROSS (3) finished second on all three starts so far and sets a clear form standard. Slight concern when overturned at heavy odds last time though only denied by a short head. A repeat of that effort would see him prove hard to beat. HELMSLEY (6) represents the winner of this from last year. Perhaps found extra distance too far last time and will benefit for the 2f shorter trip here. Keep safe. YAA MIN (5) had wind surgery since a 5L fourth at Doncaster last time. Can benefit for that and is bred to be better than shown so far. SUPERFORTRESS (2) made a promising start when 5L second on debut at Newcastle. Sent off at massive odds that day beaten by a smart performer that day. Could improve for that outing. Each way chance second up.
