PINHOLE (3) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 1m2f at Randwick. Outsprinted in the run home but kept coming and the extra ground looks a big plus. Will be winding up strongly. CASUAL CONNECTION (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 1m4f at Randwick. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. SO SUAVE (8) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Bendigo with success as favourite over 1m2 1/2f at Warwick Farm three weeks ago, getting home by 1. 2 lengths. Likely to be there at the finish again. CENTENARIO (4) turned in a better run last start at the second run of the campaign, beaten 2 lengths into fourth over 1m2 1/2f at Warwick Farm. The engagement of Regan Bayliss is a positive move. Finds a nice race and can atone.
