UNIQUE AMBITION (9) drifted back from her wide draw last start then hit the line hard to score by 1. 4 lengths at Randwick over 7f. Will be tough to hold out again. THEBLADE (7) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 3. 5 lengths when seventh over 7f at Flemington two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. CROSSBOW (8) didn't do a bad job when fifth last start over 1m at Randwick, beaten 0. 9 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. GIRIJAALA (11) was safely held when fifth last time out over 1m at Warwick Farm, beaten 5. 5 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Worth another chance.
