MOGUL MONARCH (3) showed good speed to lead over 7f in the Provincial Championships Final at this track last start but faded right out of it to finish 12th. Aided by the rails draw and is worth another chance. HAY STREET (13) raced in the leading division and kept going to score by 1. 5 lengths last time out over 5¾f at Randwick Kensington. Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. SHROPSHIRE LAD (12) was a winner last time over 5½f at Rosehill and re-unites with Reece Jones who steered on that occasion. Gets some weight relief this time so he is one of the main contenders. CALL ME GORGEOUS (9) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by 1. 75 lengths over 6f at Warwick Farm. Can figure in the finish.
