GRAND PRAIRIE (15) is fitter for two runs from a lay-off, last start finishing 1. 5 lengths away in second over 5¾f at Randwick Kensington. Big chance to break through. SHIRVINGTON (12) finished ninth last start, beaten 3. 5 lengths, over 5f at Warwick Farm. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring two times from three starts. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Best figures should see him run well. RUE DE ROYALE (7) raced in the leading division and kept going to score by a head last time out over 6f at Caulfield. Should settle handy in the run. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. BANDI'S BOY (8) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 8 lengths away in ninth over 7f at Rosehill. No surprise to see him in the frame.
