EXTRAVAGENT LAD (3) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 5f at Orange, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Fitter for that last hitout and is among the leading chances. IRON HAT (9) finished fourth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 5f at Muswellbrook, beaten only 0.8 lengths after being in contention on the corner. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. PASSEGGIATA (6) finished 12th over 6¼f at Canterbury at her most recent appearance on January 17. Has a strong when resuming record, scoring on two occasions from four starts. One to consider.
