Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. THE REPLICANT (8) raced on the speed last time and was game in defeat when second over 6½f at Warwick Farm. Among the main chances. REGAL POM (1) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Sandown-Lakeside but disappointed last time when eighth, beaten 7 lengths, at Caulfield over 7f. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. BELLEISTIC KIDS (6) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth over 1m at Forbes. Better than recent efforts suggest.
