The engagement of Michael Dee is noteworthy. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. GENERAL SALUTE (17) drifted back then made late ground to finish sixth when when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f in the LR Darby Munro Stakes at Rosehill. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be tough to hold out. POWERFUL PEG (14) booted up from the inside draw to race on the speed only to be claimed late and finish 4.5 lengths away in seventh last start over 7f at Warwick Farm. Solid top-three claims. KAZOU (12) is back at the races for the first time since November 25. Scored over 6f at this track at the start of last prep. Has a strong when resuming record, scoring on two occasions from three runs. Makes plenty of appeal.
