DENMAN BANDIT (3) finished fourth two runs back at Dubbo then improved last time out to score by 1. 1 lengths as favourite after being in contention on the corner over 4½f at Wellington. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SORRENTO PALACE (2) was going well before a lay-off with two straight minor placings. Proven when resuming performer back from a break of six months. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and should prove tough to beat. EL BEATLE (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2 lengths over 5f at Port Macquarie after being in the firing line on the turn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. GOLDEN VADER (6) finished sixth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 5f at this track, beaten only 0. 9 lengths. Nicely placed to find winning ways.
