SPIRIT OF PLUTO (3) ran below expectations last time at Tamworth, finishing sixth and beaten 3 lengths starting at 15/2. Nicely placed to bounce back. GOLD SMILES (6) scored in a at Gunnedah but was below his best last time when fifth over 6½f at Gunnedah after being prominent at the bend. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SIR FREDDIE (5) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 22 when beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth at Gunnedah over 5f. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. OLIMBA (4) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Taree, beaten 4 lengths into tenth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
