APPLE CIDER (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when ninth in a 7f152yards contest at Gold Coast Poly a week-and-a-half ago after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. BANDOLERO (5) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 3.5 lengths back in fifth over 1m1/2f at Wellington. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. YORIKIRI (3) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing ninth at Taree over 1m. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time. SNOW STAR (7) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Scone over 7f. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time.
