LUCILAGO (4) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 3. 5 lengths when ninth over 6½f at Hawkesbury two weeks ago. Has the ability to figure prominently. GEOSTORM (5) had been racing well with five placings on end before finishing 12th last start over 7f at Wagga. Returns to the course where he finished third two runs back. Should camp just off the leaders. Best form puts him right in this. TILLMAN (7) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just six wins from 83 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 7f at Wagga, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Finds a nice race and can take this out. THE PREDICTOR (1) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish 11th over 7f at Wagga in a disappointing performance. This doesn't look as hard so he is set to turn things around.
