SANT GERVASI (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1. 4 lengths when fourth in a 6¼f contest at Canterbury two weeks ago after being in contention on the corner. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. HARDLY FORTUNATE (7) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of five months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 6f at Goulburn. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Queanbeyan trial. Good chance to break through. ERION (2) went forward when resuming last start over 5½f at Wellington and held on well for second, beaten 0. 7 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. COLD MIST (1) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fifth over 6f87yards at Canberra Acton five months ago. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
