PURE HYDROGEN (1) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1 1/4f at Newcastle, beaten 4.5 lengths. Worth noting Keagan Latham goes aboard. This doesn't look as hard so he is likely to play a big role. ONEFORIAN (13) stepped up to the mile for the first time last start at Wagga and after looking a winning chance halfway down the straight he dropped out of it. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Will prove tough to beat. SONNY FELLA (2) finished third at Newcastle two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m1 1/4f at Newcastle, finishing 18 lengths back in ninth. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is set to turn things around. HARDAZHELL (6) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by a nose over 7½f at Goulburn. Can feature in the finish again.
