TRAIL OF ROSES (1) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at this track (Synthetic) over 6f, beaten half a length. Cherry-ripe now. Hard to beat. FOZZER (3) is back after a break of 16 months. At the last run before the layoff she finished seventh over 5½f at Keeneland Turf (Turf). Good effort to open last prep when in the money at Turfway Park over 6f. No surprise if she was able to get off the mark. RIZZ (5) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 8 lengths into ninth over 1m1/2f at Saratoga Turf. Will enjoy a drop in class so she can bounce back. AMERICAN SURFER (2) has been in the money four times including last start on July 13 when second over 6f at this track (Synthetic). Has been in the frame at all three runs at this track. Among the fringe hopes.
