ROUND OF APPLAUSE (7) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fifth over 1m1/4f at this track (Synthetic). Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. YARDMAN (1) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has three placings from four appearances this prep, finishing 2.75 lengths away in third most recently over 1m1/4f at this track. One of the main contenders.
