SPANISH CARA (2) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 6f at this track (Synthetic). Looks well placed and she looks certain to measure up again. WONDER WAVE (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fourth in a 1m1/4f contest at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. DOWN IN THE BAYOU (4) has been out of the winners list for a long time, last start finishing second at this track (Synthetic) over 5½f. Hasn't won here but has gone close with four places from four runs and may well be worth another chance. MRS MANICOTTI (3) was prominent at the corner and finished third last start over 5½f at this track (Synthetic), beaten 0.4 lengths. Will be rock-hard fit. Suitably placed so anticipating another forward showing.
