Group 3 winner RONDURE (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Woodbine, beaten 6 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the turn. This doesn't look as hard so he is one of the main contenders. WENT WEST (2) good effort to finish third last time out over 6f on dirt at Hawthorne, beaten 2 lengths. First try on synthetic. Goes well at this journey with five wins from 14 starts and looks a top chance. DREAMING OF KONA (5) Placed in a Group 3. Has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 6f in Listed grade at this track (Synthetic). Has never been out of the placings at the third run in and looks the main danger. SPIRITED SOL (1) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 5½f at Colonial Downs (Turf), finishing 5 lengths back in seventh. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
