VIA VEGAS (2) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before weakening to finish 11th, beaten 4. 5 lengths, over 6f at this track. Has a strong record at this course, scoring two times from four starts. Should run well. SAVVYROCKER (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 6¼f at Taree, beaten 2. 75 lengths into sixth. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. THE LUPERCAL (1) finished third last time over 5f at Coffs Harbour when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1. 3 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. DUBALENE (13) resumed over 5f at this track last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by 2 lengths. Fitter for that last hitout and she can measure up again.
