SPARKINGLY (6) wound up strongly only to just miss when fresh from a lay-off last start over 5f at Canberra. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of running another bold race. TELEGRAPH (8) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just four times from 40 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when eighth over 6f at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. GET SOME FUN (9) was last at the races when she finished 13th over 5½f at Randwick on June 7. Definite top-three chance. BUCK PHAROAH (1) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6¼f at Taree, beaten just 1. 3 lengths. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
