DUBAI GOLD (8) showed good speed to lead over 6½f at Newcastle last start but faded right out of it to finish ninth. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Bold showing expected. OAKFIELD PLUTO (10) was a winner over 5f at Taree last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by 1.4 lengths. In fine form and worth following up. MAD HARRY (16) ran below expectations last time at Moree, finishing seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths starting at 8/1. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. AMARONE (4) strode forward early from his wide draw to settle just off the lead last start then lifted to score by a nose at Taree over 5f. In form and another bold showing is on the cards.
