PERASTA (16) finished third last start over 5¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle) to make it four minor placings from 12 runs. Has a sound record here with two top-three finishes from three starts. Won't get too many better chances to break through. PUNCH ONE OUT (11) is back after a break of five-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fourth over 6f at this track. No surprise if he was able to get off the mark. ZOUSANITY (14) is a filly by Zousain out of Divine Nature on debut. Well held in recent trial. Should run well. NAMARA (4) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of three months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 6¾f at Wyong. Has had the benefit of two trials leading into this. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
