Race Tip

BORDER CONTROL (1) is a talented type yet to taste defeat after four runs this campaign, the latest over 6½f at this track. Holly Nottle stays aboard and the combination can score again. OREGON HIKER (7) has been mixing his form recently including last time out when he was well held over 6f at Carnarvon. Better than last start and expected to improve sharply. FAMEUX (8) proved too strong two runs ago at Marble Bar. Couldn't follow that up last time out when second over 6f at Roebourne, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Goes up a rung or two but he is worth serious consideration. ROEY CLAM (5) made progress last start to finish third over 5f130yards at Derby. No surprise to see him in the frame.
