REGINALD (2) is resuming from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and having his first run for the Timothy Pike yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at Ascot over 6f. Well-placed and looks ready to fire. CAPE PRIDE (3) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and stalked the lead before fading to finish seventh over 7f at Geraldton. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. SIR DIAMOND (5) has not won for a long while. Last raced on April 25 when beaten 5.5 lengths into ninth at Ascot over 6f. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. CHAVORIO (1) was unplaced on turf over 6f at Bunbury in a then again couldn't find the top-three on the same surface last time out, finishing eighth over 7f at Pinjarra Scarpside. Can figure in the finish.
