EXONUMIA (3) speared to the lead from a wide alley before fading right out of it over 6½f at Bordertown last time. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Leading contender. SHIKANIC (1) missed the frame in town lastest but not disgraced when seventh at Morphettville and does tend to run well here. Will find this much easier. Best form puts him right in this. BORN TO SHINE (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2. 25 lengths over 5½f at Bordertown. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SUMADARTSON (5) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 5 when beaten 7 lengths into fifth at this track over 5½f after being up on the pace until straightening. Well placed and can run a better race.
