Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. STRASBEAU (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7f at Quorn, beaten 2 lengths. Steps up a level but he is capable of running a bold race. CASTLECOMER (6) finished in the placings when a 2.5 lengths third on dirt at this track in a but then disappointed on turf last time at Balaklava over 1m when 14th, finishing 11 lengths from the winner. Strong contender back on the dirt. TAIPAN TOMMY (2) last appeared when he finished fourth over 7½f at this track on June 22. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
