GARRIRE (1) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6½f at Balaklava. This is a nice drop in grade so he will be hard to beat. TIME WARRIOR (5) made progress last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6f213yards at this track after being prominent at the turn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ALLUSION (2) was in the money two starts back at Gawler but couldn't back it up last time when sixth, beaten 6 lengths, at Balaklava over 1m. Won't find this as tough so he is one of the main contenders. DEVINE ASSASSIN (4) was safely held when eighth last time out over 6f213yards at this track, beaten 12 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Worth another chance.
