AL RANCHERO (1) ran below expectations last time at Gawler, finishing tenth and beaten 11 lengths starting at 6/1. Has raced seven times here and has never missed the frame. Faces an easier assignment so he can find the winners' list. SASSY ANGEL (9) was below her best last time, finishing sixth and beaten 7 lengths over 6f213yards at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. KNICKPOINT (6) hit the frame with a 2.25 lengths third on turf at Strathalbyn two starts back. Disappointed last time though, again on the turf, at Balaklava over 7f when 5 lengths from the winner in fifth. Suited here. Don't underestimate back on dirt.
